Amplify Sold To Ventures in Digital Media

Amplify Services, one of Australia's orginal search marketing agencies, has been sold to Ventures in Digital Media for a reported $1m. ViDM is a new company headed by former Yahoo and Amplify exec Willie Pang. Current COO Tom Petryshen, has been appointed VP - International, based in Vancouver. Petryshen will continue to be a significant shareholder and has been appointed to the Board of ViDM. Former co-owner David Dale will also stay involved in the business and work from his new home in the UK. Amplify clients include Telstra, Realestate.com.au, Webjet, Europcar, Australian Unity, News Digital Media, Fairfax Digital, ninefold, Shopping.com, Crazy Sales, oo.com.au, DealsDirect, Boardroom Radio and James Hardie.
